Search/Operator search should have previously searched command history to quickly perform repetitive tasks without researching i
I think it's fairly easy to add. Operator search or normal search should have command history for quick access of previous command. It will really help in repetitive tasks. Let me know if something is already there or been working on. Sorry if i'm not aware. Thanks

Use Quick Favorites - check 2.90, context menu now work on search result items.
* @IIIFGIII * I already have too many things in my quick favorites
* @IIIFGIII * yup me too .. this is alternative I use ... add so many things to the quick fav and save as startup file.
* @thinsoldier * So u will have then to many things in search popup (maybe because you one of such person which always stack too many things).
To not have too many things it need to remove unused things/keymap most common used( even replace some unused default keymap by those u need more)/use PME addon to collect this " too many " inside PIE's ( 1 PIE = 8 items)/ etc. " do something " moves.
In my vision - QF for quick pinning some things to get quick acess without hotkeying and etc. cases. Temporarily. Not for just stacking inside one popup " too many " things for ever...
* @IIIFGIII * Almost every app I use daily that has a search box shows me my most recent search terms (or actual recent results). This is a common UI feature the millions of people in thousands of apps are familiar with and enjoy.
* @IIIFGIII * that's useful with shortcuts you use on a daily basis, but for repetitive tasks you only do once per project a history seems useful.
