Make standard bash shell shortcuts as default in Blender Terminal
Current default shortcuts for navigating text in blender terminal are different from Bash, which is the industry standard. It would be great if we can make blender default to bash.
- Clear the line with ctrl+L
- move cursor to end of line ctrl+E
- move cursor to start of line ctrl+A
- move cursor to start of current word meta+B
- move cursor to end of current word meta+F
- Change auto completion to tab ( which frees up the ctrl+space to the default maximise current view, which is not available with the current shortcuts )
Special brownie points for implementing these features...!
- delete from the cursor to the end of line ctrl+K
- delete from the cursor to the start of the line ctrl+U
- delete word to the right alt+D
- delete word to the left ctrl+W
I spend a good amount of time in the terminal and I felt its a simple paper cut which can make the developer life easier while navigating text. Would love to hear other developer's opinions. Cheers!

Assigning auto completion to <kbd>Tab</kbd> interferes with indentation. So I personally like to rebind (un)indentation to <kbd>Cmd</kbd>+<kbd>Shift</kbd>+<kbd>[</kbd>/<kbd>]</kbd> (on macOS) to match the default of old Xcode. I think this is a fair change because indentation is less-frequently needed inside the Python console.
