Macro recorder for Blender!

I can not wait for the possibility of recording macros in the blender! Such macros would allow people who can not code in the python to do simple scripts.

Yeah, this would be very nice.
I would thumbs up this multiple times if I could. I would use this dozens of times per hour.

I currently use AutoHotkey to make macros, which does work fine, but it requires quite a bit to learn how it works, and sometimes you have to put in small delays for things to work properly. Plus that only works for simple operations.

But if I wanted to say - macro a shrinkwrap operation, then I would need to be able to record the selection of the particular modifier, and record the entry of all the options.

To make this really useful, it would be cool to have macro slots, and be able to name them, and a hotkey to access. I don't care if I'd have to hit ctrl-alt-shift-M-1 to do #1, heh, I'd deal with that...

It would be best to have an edit option to show/edit each step.

There are a few free addons that do this; however, none of them now seem to work as of Blender 3.4, and really this should be a native function.

User: @xan2622 Hi. You might want to take a look at this Blender add-on:

github.com/Muthird/CommandRecorder2.8

You can add it in your proposal,

Kind Regards, Ros

Hi! Did you test Voice Macro? voicemacro.net/ b3d doesn't let you make some things but it's powerful, interesting and very funny TIP: Make use of Dynamic Context Menu to perform some tricky actions. You will love "wire all". (SPC V S W) :)

In the meantime, you could use Pie Menu editor Addon which will allow you to do a lot of things recording each step as a Macro.
