Commentating items in the Scene
All we have tough projects. Where we have a lot objects. Its will by pretty to write (at least) small comment to each object. It could be put near object settigs.

You can use the "Custom Properties". It accepts also plain text strings
I proposed this last week. There is a new addon that does this now.
