Blender - Rhino sync (Obj-FBX files)

Hello

I am working on Archviz industry. Blender is not for architecture but we need collabration with other architecture programs like Rhino. Is it possible to have sync or update mesh feature on blender thus I don't need to arrange material files again again.

OBJ or FBX file properties should have update mesh model feature. Thanks for your concern.

Ok so currently the only way to update models is by using linking.

You need a blend file where you have your models.
You also have a second blend file where your scene is.
In the scene blend file you can import objects, collections... from the other blend file.

this means that you can edit your models in one file and build your scene within a different file. I know that this is not what you want but you could maybe somehow use this technique until what you want gets added.

Also when it comes to obj or fbx support the blender team is currently much more interested in fancier and more capable formats like alembic and USD

* @Anže * This method not useful at all. I don't wanna edit meshes in Blender file. I just want to update the mesh and keep the UV coordinates and materials in Blender file.

In Lumion there is a button which updates the mesh in few seconds and keep all materials.
