ability to adjust amount of verts in skin modifer

basically you add skin modifer you get a cube if you add subdiv modifier you get a sphere what I'm saying is that to add ability to decrease and increase amount of verts that we can add to the base mesh in skin modfier so your blocky basemesh will go from this

to this

adding z and a x dimension to it that looks natural and one that we can control instead of having to use decimate to decrease the amount of poly which takes more time so having the option to adjust how many verts we want our model to have using skin modifer when making base meshs for sculpting would be blessing it won't look blocky nor too subdivided to the point your pc crashes cuz the more you extrude the more geometry is created the subdivided by the modfier vaulting blender to slow down so cutting the use of subdiv modifer with this feature will help average blender users who want to make to easy base mesh that can be subdivided later so they don't destroy your pc
