Zoom out more in UV editor

I think that 3D viewport has no limit of zooming in and out.

UV Editor, however, does. And it's quite frustrating that I cannot zoom out more than a certain level. You can zoom out till your single texture tile covers just a few pixels on the screen, and this seems way more than enough, at first glimpse, but in fact...

It is NOT.

When I import models from other software, like SketchUp, UV maps are usually messed up, even though mapping looks fine in 3D. UVs are scattered horribly far from the main tile (I mean (0,0,0) point). Sure, I can unwrap the mesh from scratch, and then UVs will be squeezed near the main tile, but in some cases I would prefer not.

Maybe in the View tab there could be a numeric input for zoom level.

I would really appreciate a possibility to zoom out indefinitely.

really messed up that sketchup would do that in the first place, but i do like the idea of numeric input for zoom, more for 3d view. would be a great addition to the left tab

Yeah, SketchUp sucks when it comes to more than very basic texturing, but still it's cool for quick solid modelling, to I stick to it.
