Dock Geo Nodes

Hi, I've recently started to dabble in geometry nodes. I don't know if this is possible or if it already exists, but substance designer has this docking feature, and I like it as I find complex nodes to be more organized and less of a spaghetti hell. Is it possible to implement something like this if it doesn't already exist?

Example & Explanation: 7b8c6ee3ce9fda95b5e7c5b7efb363f75ee7f911.png

When the greyscale map (this instance) is selected and you press "d," it will dock to the connected node.

Interesting idea, something like this?

Individual node height is however is bigger than single row so they don't quite fit together without overlapping:

I see. Yeah, exactly like this. This works as an alternative, of course. :)

I like that, my organizational method is similar to this where I use node wrangler to arrange my nodes in a stack, if this were implemented then I would have a different solution that works just as well or maybe better in some cases
