Edit same parameter for multiple objects

I suppose this would be a pain to implement but I was thinking it would be cool to be able to edit a modifier parameter for multiple objects. For example, selecting five objects in the Outliner that each have a Wireframe modifier applied and changing the line thickness for all of them to 0.01m all at the same time. i.e. Type 0.01 in the field, press Enter, and all five Wireframe modifiers receive the same numeric input update for that field.

This already happens when you alt+click or alt+drag.

Reversing this behaviour so by default changes are applied to all selected and alt applies it only to active and ui improvements are planned but nobody works on it right now: developer.blender.org/T54862

Only for some values and it's not discoverable. Also it's unintuitive. It's the best we have for now but it's terrible UX.

Proposal is a duplicate as well: blender.community/c/rightclickselect/qfcbbc/
