Upgrade sky texture node by adding Clouds generation
I would like to suggest an improvement for the Sky Texture node in Blender The idea would be to add a cloud generation system directly inside the Sky Texture node The node could have two simple cloud options :
Low altitude clouds
High altitude clouds
The user could enable either one or both depending on the type of atmosphere they want to create The Sky Texture would then generate the clouds procedurally based on the existing sky settings and the position of the sun A new Volume output could also be added to the Sky Texture node.
This Volume output could be directly connected to the Volume input of the World Output node...
This would make it possible to create a complete sky atmosphere with clouds without having to manually build a separate volume node setup
For example the workflow could simply be :
Sky Texture Low altitude clouds enabled High altitude clouds enabled
Volume output connected to World Volume This would give Blender users a much faster and more intuitive way to create realistic skies with clouds
It could also make the clouds react naturally to the Sun direction and the atmospheric settings already defined in the Sky Texture
The system could remain fully procedural and expose a few optional parameters such as cloud density cloud coverage cloud altitude cloud thickness and cloud detail the main goal would be to make realistic clouds part of the Sky Texture itself rather than requiring users to construct a complex volume setup manually
This could be especially useful for artists creating outdoor environments landscapes architectural visualisation and realistic atmospheric scenes
It wold also make the Sky Texture node feel more like a complete procedural sky and atmosphere system rather than only a sky and sun model and btw you can choose a preset of wich cloud we want like them :

Maybe a 3D clouds texture node should also be added for volumetric clouds
and we must also remember to add parallax to make the clouds look voluminous.
