Similar to a search filter bar for the Npanel you proposed earlier?

* Hi! Nope - search filter bar (search box) was not my proposal but both options would be quite ussable.

I am not entirely sure why is it proposed as a popover, when it tooks the same place as tab (hovering the entire N panel) and, basically, works like management tab, that
controls other tabs
.
Also I think it is missing the ability to set custom names to tabs, although such a need exists.

No. It's not an add-on bar. It's just a sidebar. Add-ons can go anywhere in Blender's interface. Speak with add-on developers and tell them to better integrate their tools with Blender's interface.

* Yeah your right, I knew it but messed up the names. Will edit the title :) I just called sidebar an addon bar but the general idea is to change UI so it is more simple and fast in daily usage. On the graphic I put examples of addons names, not necessarily those that are displayed in the sidebar. This mocap is more about moving the addon filter in a place that will prompt you to use its useful options. Who needs looking for next solution since there is a filter but maybe rarely used because of its location. Why would I use a search box when I could do the same without remembering all the names of the addons to type in - the ones that are displayed in the sidebar. I could just start using this kind of filter with the options I described (maybe with wrong naming ;P). It's not about the option this or that but something that can work independently or be a different approach to get the benefits of a search box. Sory, I may have mixed up these names a little bit. I don't write often in English :D

* I understood what you were requesting and up-voted. A way to organize and arrange the add-ons that appear in the N-Panel is something many users desire. Every idea and suggestion is welcome. Thank you for sharing yours.
