Ability to Interrupt an Ongoing Command in Sculpt Mode

Description: Hello, It would be very useful to have the ability to stop a command while it is running, particularly for:

  • Modifiers (Boolean, Decimate, etc.)
  • Sculpting operations such as Dyntopo Detail Flood Fill
  • Remesh
  • The Box Trim tool

Goal:

  • Provide users with immediate control to cancel or interrupt heavy operations.
  • Prevent freezes or long waiting times when complex calculations are triggered by mistake or with overly demanding parameters.

Expected Benefits:

  • Improved fluidity and responsiveness of the software.
  • Reduced frustration caused by long or unintended operations.
  • Greater safety in the workflow, allowing users to quickly correct an action without waiting for the computation to finish.

Something like that (although more general) was already proposed here , and there is a WIP pull request adding it here , so you might see this in Blender soon.
