procedural or node-based rendering settings and batch rendering
In commercial projects, there are often many scenes—usually over 20. However, rendering settings typically need to be controlled individually for each scene, and it seems impossible to apply uniform rendering settings across all. When there are many scenes, configuring compositor paths, rendering settings, and cameras for each one becomes extremely cumbersome. Is it possible to integrate scene management into Blender and node-ify the entire rendering pipeline, thereby enabling custom settings for batch rendering? Additionally, it would be great to have simple preview images for each scene.
In my vision, a node-based rendering pipeline could allow different rendering settings to be applied to multiple cameras within a single scene, outputting different passes or render layers. This would quickly enable batchrendering
Of course, file paths can also be controlled via strings for corresponding file naming. For example, combining strings with serial numbers allows for different renaming of each output file.

The idea of a node-based render setting pipeline is very, very enticing.
I would love to see how blender node UI would pan out in a render setting context. This would be incredibly useful and time-saving for multi-scene / multi-output pipelines.
YES!
that's not trivial, but would be useful. in the meantime there are addons for that, like shot-handler on superhivemarket.
Yeah at the very least I'd love to see render settings become a data block that could be linked between scenes. I think that would require a little more development with path templates.
