Custom Tabs for Addon in Properties Panel
For Addons it would be very neat to have the possibility to add Custom Tabs to the properties editor.
Registering like a panel or operator and than you can fill it with your addon related stuff. Assign a custom Icon ... and all that.

That should be possible to implement, but it would require a few adjustments (making a new class such as bpy.types.PanelContextSpace, which would then be registered in the python layout files to remake the existing tabs, and custom versions of it could also be registered).
Probably the main challenge with implementing it would be redesigning the way that the context tabs work, but I think it would work.
Currently the tabs are part of the Properties space and are built-in draw functions and not basic UI layout elements.
