Complete implementation of bmesh.ops.duplicate and split

The api docs for bmesh.ops.duplicate() and bmesh.ops.split() mention a dest parameter that currently raises a NotImplementedError.

It sounds like this would allow a mesh (or part thereof) to be copied or moved into a second mesh object. It would be useful to be able to do this without UI operators or manually copying data ourselves in python.

This does indeed seem useful, I've submitted the required changes for review. Here is the task: developer.blender.org/T56602

Hey I am brand new to the community, would love to fix this issue so I + others can use duplicate() and split() . Are there any documents anyone could point me to that will help me understand the bmesh operators-code? Thanks!

Yes, please! I hit this roadblock tonight and it was such a pain.
