Set Render Threads to All-But-One

For Cycles CPU rendering, where thread count can be specified by a number, allow negative values of -1 and maybe -2. Blender would then calculate the total threads available on the computer and then use all but the one or two for rendering. Keeping one or two threads as unused will improve the responsiveness of the computer if user is doing other things.

This would allow optimal use of computer's rendering capabilities, especially when using Flamenco Renderer where different workers will have different CPU thread counts.

That actually sounds interesting.

When doing hybrid rendering, I often need to use -1 or -2 cores to get the best performance. Using negative numbers to indicate "all cores minus X" sounds intuitive and handy.
It would also make things simpler when rendering on multiple machines with different hardware.

I just guess there should be a hidden limit of always using at least one core. Because there's could always be someone who puts -7 while having 6 cores to begin with and most likely didn't enable hybrid rendering only to not use the CPU at all.

you can just lower the priority of stalling programs . i did that since the 3ds max days , then there are also little tools with can change the cpu core affinity so you can exclude those 2 cores from blender , but first option works better
