Align curve to view

in the same way that you can add a reference image and it will be aligned to the view you are currently in curves need to be given the same ability, this would make things like adding arcs much easier to edit the angles and number of points etc before you rotate it to the correct alignment because as we all know, once you rotate or resize or do anything the operator panel disappears for good.......and no, F9 doesnt solve this.

after adding an object/curve, you can press f9 to see the redo options. In there you can choose what to align it to.

Default aligning setting is in preferences:

Quick addon to bring this setting from preferences to sidebar (N panel) if you want to change it frequently:

Download: quick_preferences.py

I made it as test to see if I could recreate old addon few years ago, but didn't end up using it much. I think N panel is actually not a good place for this, perhaps it makes more sense to locate it in header, closer to other orientation tools:

This is just a mockup, more compact version with icons instead of text would fit better with rest. Is there interest in it though?
