Hiding Nodes Should Respect Closed Panels

When working with large geometry nodes groups (or any other node editor, but I'll be using geometry nodes as my example), panels are one of the most useful things for organization. In this case, I have a custom node for text animation with everything in panels. text+.PNG But, if the user wants to hide this node, it becomes larger than the normal node because it force displays all inputs. text+ hidden.PNG In my opinion, it would be much better if hiding the node respected which panels were closed and which ones weren't. If a panel is open, displaying all inputs makes sense but if not I think its just unneeded clutter, something like this could look much cleaner text+ hidden better.PNG The input sockets here on 'Text+ hidden_panel' are just using menu switches for demonstration, but they could be displayed as a sideways carrot like closed panels are, or something else.
