Process Monitor
It has often happened to me that Blender became slower and slower with larger projects. It was always difficult for me to identify what was responsible for this in my scene. Is it due to objects with a geometry node modifier? Is it due to a particle system?
What could help here would be a view that shows what Blender is currently processing, what is still in the queue and what has already been completed and how long it took Blender to do so. A kind of history.
Example:
Obj001 | Geometry Nodes | done | 00:15
Obj002 | Subdivision Surface M. | processing | 00:05
Obj002 | Solidify M. | in queue | --:--
...
It would now be much easier to identify inefficient processes and optimise them directly.

Such tool natively embedded into blender would really be a game changer, especially if you also add memory (ram) and disk usage. It could not only help in optimizing scenes but also when being accessed via cli to fix crashing files/help restore the good parts.
Yes! large scene management and inspection features are really lacking.
