Render elements
Hello guys. I do not know if anyone has posted this here, but one thing I really miss in Blender is an option to render render elements easily. An option in the viewport that saves the render elements along with Beauty (Combined Pass) when I select the render output folder. I have been using Blender since 2008, but I use the 3Ds max at work because of their pipeline. (I apply Blender whenever possible in the works). In 3Ds max and Corona Render, we have the options in a window and when I fire the render, the render elements I added are exported together in the same folder as the default render. I would love to see this in Blender. Hugs.

Right, currently the easiest way to save passes is as layers in the multilayer exr format, but yeah, it would be nice. It could probably be automated with an addon
How does this differ from render passes, render layers, and the file output node?
@Jason van Gumster:
At max I just need to select the render elements and tell which folder. In Blender I need to tell the folder, the passes and name each pass manually one by one and link each pass on the output node. Or am I completely mistaken?
@douglas.liell1: You're not completely mistaken. But I personally feel that the Blender system is more flexible. To get the specific behavior that you want, it probably wouldn't be all that hard to automate with an add-on.
