Colored icons for the File Browser
I've been finding it hard to find things in the file browser with the new icon set. I think this could be improved by coloring the icons (like in the outliner). At least there should be a separation between files and folders, but having some colors for Blender files and images/videos would be great too.

i think you are on tho something.. how about coloring the icons of the usable file types, say if youre "opening" the blend files get a color, if you're importing an image , all the image files get a color, if you're importing an obj, only the objs get a color... etc, that would make it super easy to scan
Agree. Colors will help to separate and find content.
