Turn on off multiple collections/objects as default behaviour
It would be nice if the default behaviour of the outliner would be to turn on and off all the collections/objects selected and not only the one clicked.
This would make Blender much more user-friendly because basically in every software this is the default behaviour.
Furthermore, I can already turn on and off a single object/collection by just selecting it alone, so if I get the same effect after selecting more than one object/collection is strange and a bit disappointing.

Another thing where Alt should just work, and where Blender deselecting hidden objects is plain annoying.
You can turn off/on multiple collections, by control + left mouse clicking the collection's eye symbol when you have multiple collections selected, works at least in Blender 4.0.
But this doesn't work for objects as a selection.
But at least you can mouse left click + drag over eye symbols of the objects to show / hide many objects without multiple clicks. Not that convenient, but better than nothing I guess.
Yeah I knew that, but all these unnecessary shortcuts that are required to do stuff that other applications do in one click frighten newcomers. For example, a good default behaviour which would save the users from a lot of struggle would be: "Whenever selected multiple objects, just reflect whatever change on all of them", the Alt behaviour is ok, but unnecessarily complex, in all other applications if I want to make a change on one single object I just select one single object.
