RCS: Automatically mark clicked notification links as "read"

It's a bit tedious to click on notifications and still have them show as 'unread' in the alert dropdown. I find that clicking "mark all as read" is a thing I end up having to do multiple times per day.

Visiting a link from the notification panel should clear the unread flag on that notification.

A bit of a tangent, but while I'm on the subject of notifications, the text itself is sometimes semantically awkward:

should instead read in one of two ways:
