Move Camera Passpartout to Viewport Overlays
Hello, it would be convenient to move the Camera Passpartout settings to the Viewport Overlays in the 3D Viewport.
Right now, you need to dig through Camera Settings->Viewport Display and then another sub-tab until you can get to it.
Also, I think it should be an option per Editor, not per Camera as well.

What I'd really like to know is who decided to call it that? It's a French-derived word and the way Blender uses it isn't even the first couple definitions of the word. Not to mention that it should be hyphenated: Passe-partout dictionary.com/browse/passe-partout It's nearly impossible to find that setting, as the OP stated, but I'd argue the name is 95% responsible.
Suggestion: Matte, Image Matte, View Matte... anything BUT Passepartout
I can't remember but I think there was a good reason why it's per camera. I think all cameras should be created with passpartout set to 100%.
