TOGGLE HIDE/UNHIDE Only Previously Active Objects

When I hide other objects with Shift-H and later try to unhide those objects with Alt-H all objects are unhidden instead of only the ones that were shown before hiding.

It would be much easier If we could toggle HIDE/UNHIDE only the ones that are currently shown in the viewport.

In short: Make the Shift-H shortcut TOGGLE (undo) the action it already does.

Or like in Maya: "Show Last Hidden" option

* @radi0n * Exactly.

I suggest to try using isolate option as "second step" hiding.

* @impacman * Agreed, I remapped Isolate to Ctrl + 5 as I use the num pad for navigation so it feels like a focus mode. You can then if multiple parts are selected when isolating them further hide them so that when you alt + h to unhide only those in the isolated selection are unhidden.

* @TheWizardLord * Why not only make Shift-H toggle? Hit it once it does what it does now and hit it again undo that action to a previous state. One shortcut. It only needs a line of code form a developer. If I was a coder I would do it right away.

* @zerr0 * First of all Shift H is used to Hide Non selected so that shortcut is taken. But if you want a feature like this I think it's a good options to have if it's assigned a different hotkey. However I never personally am in need of this option with the use of Isolation so try it out and see if helps since its currently a feature that exists and maybe in the future we might see this as an additional option for tasks where Isolation isn't helpful.
