Dissolve Edges - Preserve Endpoint
Problem
Dissolve Edges with Dissolve Verts option remove endpoint vertices too. For some cases this result is not what user want to achieve.
There are two ways to avoid this. But it still " work around ".
First - to turn OFF Dissolve Verts option and then remove unnecessary vertices manually.
Second - to dissolve not full edges and then additionaly do Dissolve Faces operation.
Proposed Solution
Add Preserve Endpoint parameter. As " endpoints " will be considered vertices on mesh border and vertices which connect to only one edge in selection. This parameter will work as adjustment to Dissolve Verts. User can control which vertices will be removed and which will not by changing angle limit - all cases with angles less then parameter value will be preserved.
As always - thanks for reading. Also you can check my suggestions .

There is limited dissolve
* @Pawel Piotrowski * :) Shame on me. Thank you. But it still work not exactly how I propose.
I proposed angel limit parameter value. It will theoretically allow to control which vertices will be preserved and which will be removed. At least that is how I imagine comfortable to use for me tool to work.
Limited Dissolve has some Max Angle (angle between what) parameter but it work somehow different or as if it broken maybe.
It looks like this Max Angle parameter designed and controlled angle between faces to resolve operator.
* @IIIFGIII * How would your proposal work on curved surfaces? Would it calculate the total angle in all three dimensions (i.e. as a quaternion) or would it look along a specific axis or try to check only in the surface (essentially in UV space)?
* @IIIFGIII * yeap, i forgot to write that you proposal is still valid and would be useful
* @Pawel Piotrowski * Or not.. I thought about - and guess that for 99% of cases just limited dissolve works enough well. So nevermind :) I wrote this because don't knew that it work for edges ( always used limited dissolve for faces ).
