Enable Touchpad Multitouch Gestures on Windows
I originally used Blender on a MacBook Pro and on a Mac, Blender is perfectly usable with the touchpad using multitouch gestures. In the 3D viewport, two finger swipe rotates the view, doing the same while holding shift pans the view, and pinching zooms in and out. On Windows however, multitouch gestures are not enabled. You have to enable emulate 3 button mouse (losing alt-click to select loops) and use awkward key combinations for navigation (alt +/- shift +/- ctrl + left mouse button + moving your finger around on the trackpad). This makes navigation very hard without using a mouse. Many modern laptops come with multitouch "precision" touchpads and should be able to handle the gestures just as well as MacOS does. Enabling multitouch gestures on Windows would improve using Blender on these laptops a lot.

Although that proposal is similar, I imagine full implementation of touchscreen gestures is a much bigger effort than simply enabling the same touchpad gestures already there for Mac on Windows.
