editing shaders/materials

Hello !

It would be great to be able to edit and create shaders in the shader editor without the need of selecting a mesh. we can select them in the outliner by the blendfile data mode but it won't show up in the editor. In the near future we are gonna have the asset manager and in production you'll probably have a blend file used as a shading library with all your shaders but if you need to create a mesh, assign every shader to the mesh to edit the shaders it's not really convenient. A mesh and a material are two different data, you should be able to edit both of them independently.

And ( tell me if it's another feature i'll make a second proposal) you can edit multiple object at the same time but you can't edit multiple shaders. it would be great to be able to see in the shading editor every single shaders selected. So you can reuse some input nodes through the different graphs. And to simplify the readability the material output can be renamed after the material.
