Draw Mesh
The highest-rated and bought sculpting app on mobile devices is called 3D Putty, There hasn't been much if any development on it since release so its lacking features but the core underlining principle it focused on of being to drawing mesh as simple and intuitive as possible has kept it relevant and competitive till today. Dynotopo is one of the biggest sculpting features added to Blender (and zbush) in years, but it doesn't have the ability to draw from scratch, which can make it 100 times harder to block in the basic organic forms. For something fundamental that it can run smoothly on a four year old ipads, it has been a pity that such a relevant ability has been overlooked. The community has definitely expressed a demand for it since people are sketching in grease pencil and other addons like quickdraw and G-lasso draw just to later convert them to mesh. Not to mention the cylindrical shape characteristics of mesh linework would seamlessly work with Pablos stylized geared tools like the pose brush. It would naturally alleviate the use of curves which would not only reduce the learning curve and extra mode swapping but the mesh would inherently be more format friendly. For the future of Blender's VR to compete with the rest of the VR sculpting software, this is basically a requirement. If that being niche market place has any stigma, I want to express the potential to literally accommodate the largest demographic being anyone with a creative inkling. There has always been an initial suppression of creativity when opening Blender for the first time, while programs like Photoshop have that great first impression, of just freely being able to go make a mess. As a long term thought, I think it has the potential to replace the default cube since so many tutorials of people immediately deleting it and drawing have an entry-level that ranges from a box of crayons to the masterpieces you see in museums. Simply drawing mesh in Putty has saved me many hours especially during those conceptual times like inkober youtube.com/watch and I would much rather be able to do this in Blender then on my Ipad. Please let me know if you have any thoughts or insights on this subject, Thanks!

Good idea for blender.
Really great idea! I think when you look at the recent and amazing new sculpting features, adding this drawing feature should be achievable
* @timmayer1989 * That's what I was thinking, is seems like potentially low hanging fruit. I am willing to put a decent-sized code blunt out on this if there are any takers.
Good idea...
* @arkoprobhogupta23 * Thanks man, I definitely think this would give Blender a huge edge over Zbrush too (not that there is anything wrong with Zbrush).
* @wondraknathan * cost
* @arkoprobhogupta23 * Lol Funny story, I couldn't afford Zbrush for years so my friends pyrited it for me, by the time I finally bought it, I never wanted to use it because Blender is just that good.
* @wondraknathan * I pirated zbrush...used it ...and deleted it ...becuz I can not pirate ...graphics tablet...since it will be literally called stealing....
hey, i saw your request from 6 years ago and actually made a blender add-on that does exactly this. it allows you to sketch 3d volumetric clay strokes in mid-air, on mesh surfaces, or locked to a 3d canvas plane.
you can get Sketchy 3D here:

I think Pablo dobarro mentioned a while ago he wanted to do something like this.
* @gilbertorodrigues * That would be awesome, I'm not sure if he ever visits this site, but is so... Please consider this Pablo and thank you for all of your amazing work!
