Separate curves by loose parts
Hey there,
I work a lot with dxf data from cad programs. They get imported nicely, but they're always merged together. For using them with a shrink warp modifier or to set them cyclic i have to separate them. Currently there is no easy way to do that. When I got joined mesh data, I can easily separate them by loose parts. - So my workaround is to convert the curves to meshes, separate them and convert them back to curves. The problem this way around is, that the curves get more complex as they where when i directly imported them because of the conversion process. Is there a easy way to get the "separate by loose parts" option for curves as well?
Cheers!

Please implement this. I have an object with a bunch of curves to separate, and it's awful.
Found a script which can handle this. I will link it if you like. But it would be great if this function was built into blender.
Yeah.. this really should be possible. Mind blowing that it's not.
This would be good for Grease Pencil too.
