Global option for Step size of the Discrete transform
It would be great to be able to customize the step of a discrete transform. For example, I prefer the big step for Scale (0.5) and the small step for Rotate (1 degree).
I think most users have their own preferences. It would be cool to let them customize their tools.

Yes, increments of thing are so inconsistent. Like Node sliders, 0 to 2495.9586 in a flick of the mouse. The shift commend is backwards. Default should be slow and fast should be shift. And there should be a reset back to default setting button on all sliders.
Where would a user set this?
* @Jason van Gumster * Somewhere in Blender Preferences, there would be a place for them. In Editing tab maybe.
* @borschberry * Do you think users would want this to be a setting that they'd want to change more frequently? Also should it be stored per .blend file or for all Blender sessions?
* @Jason van Gumster * Right click on the tool to change it. I've said for years Preference setting should be at the tool. Not in some dark corner of a UI that takes hours to find. Death to the Preference page, or 90% of it.
* @Jason van Gumster * For me, the ability to make such settings is more important than their location. I rarely change these parameters, so that the farthest and darkest corner would suit me. But there are probably people who will want to have such settings at hand.
* @othoap * I completely agree. But this seems to be a big topic for a separate request.
* @borschberry * Yes, agreed
