Pie Menu for Select Mode

Would love if Blender have an official pie menu for the Select Modes in both 3D View and UV Editor. I know there is the hotkeys 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the UV Editor, but in my opinion it's more convenient to have these modes at hand by pressing just one key.

Also, I think there is a bit of inconsistency of usability on how Island works in UV Editor and Linked in the 3D View, they should behave the same way in my opinion, because it's basically the same thing.

Like when you are on the Island mode on the UV Editor, you just click and select the entire island, this should behave the same way on the 3D View in my opinion.
