Cached Value Node
Node Graphes have a tendency to become very cluttered and hardly manageable as they grow.
A way to reduce this cluttering could be the usage of "Cached Values". Cached Values act as a reroute nodes but are named and do not have wire between them .
Bellow an example of how they are implemented in Unreal Engine (and they are called reroute node here actually!)
First, a Cached Value is created:
Then this cached value is used somewhere.
A cached value with a specific name can only be defined once and its scope is only inside the current graph. It can however be used afterward as many time as we want in the graph.
This allows to still have big graph but keeps them very manageable. Processing could be keep isolated in a frame without any wire between them, only using cached values as input and output.

btw Thats not chaching. Nothing is cached, there is no performance gain. Its just cleaning up node setup.
Done?
Caching will be implicit, there is already an experience branch with explicit caching, it is not very convenient and consistent. Everyone wants this, but I can’t say exactly what progress is now in this.
