Smart behavior for Delete tool (addon icluded)

Deleting via the pop-up window is not very convenient. In most cases, the user expects a fairly predictable behavior when he presses Delete.

However, for rare occasions when you need to do something specific, this popup menu is very useful.

I suggest adding a button like Smart Delete with preprogrammed behavior for most cases.

I wrote a test addon that behaves in a rather predictable way. But I'm not a very good programmer, so I would like to see this functionality added to Blender by professionals.
