Cycles — painting bucket priority

Hi,

I would love to be able to ' paint ' bucket priority while Cycles is rendering. You'd click and drag across an area in the rendering to make Cycles render those buckets first. They don't have to be buckets that are already initialized, you should also be able to drag across a black or transparent area that hasn't been touched by Cycles yet.

Thanks.

Cool, Vray for Maya has that feature and It's very useful for lookdev!

I like the idea, but what is the purpose personally 4 you? When I want to preview certain piece, I use crop (Ctrl+B). If i want to see few spots — masked Camera (plain with map of transparency/holdout). If I need to see certain objects — new View layer and collections. Partial render.

* @ Vyacheslav * It would be just a way of prioritizing certain spots to check if you didn't forget something, how colors turn out in the rendering, etcetera. You can also do that up front with the methods you described, but sometimes you're already rendering for a while and suddenly think of something, causing a desire to render a certain part first, so you can abort the render if necessary.
