How to split job? (one is modeling)-(other one is shading) - at the same time.
So what's the best way to work on one scene? for multiple people - like: while I work on modeling and animation updates - my friend makes shadings and textures - and we need our scene to be updated on both ends. is there a way to do it properly? we try linking it - but we lack of knowledge.. and there is a lot of manual work on apointing shaders after every update... Any help?

RCS is not a place for asking for help, but for making proposals how to improve Blender. Use blenderartist.org for help.
are you working on environments, props, characters?
are you making modeling changes to characters that already have some animation?
also this isn't the help section
I know it isn't a help section - but it may be as an idea for some developers - to create such a feature. I know there is a "mixer" addon but i'm not sure its convenient - cause one person must be a host.. - what i'm telling about is updating one scene simultaniously for both users (or more)
someone must have the file for it to be worked on, that's the purpose of the host. the reason it's done that way is because if everyone had a copy of the file and worked on it without the host, the files would need to be merged together. if you don't want either person to be the host you could host it on an external server you can both connect to. that way neither of you will need to actually have the file open for the other to work on it
