File Browser improvements
I use a lot of external .lwo and .obj files. It would be nice to have 3d object preview when Thumbnails mode is choosen for Display Mode. Just like it is already done for textures.
And drag & drop functionality. You would drag the 3d object file from File Browser and drop it into 3D viewport directly.

We need to open up more APIs for third-party addons to provide thumbnails for file managers in other file formats. Likes the svg (It has became offical features after 4.0）
Other file format thumbnails incoming if we could get the right API
