"Shape keys" should move on the modifier stack ?
hello
i just though its more appropriate to consider them as modifier
because its should be with all the other non destructive parametric tools dont you guys think ?
it even give you the advantage of choosing if the shape key affect the mesh before or after all the modifier are applied
that's it
thanks

We need this! It would be so useful for rigging especially since objects with mirror modifiers and shape keys are not manageable if you want to apply it just to one side of the object.
Hello,
I support this very strongly! Not only would it be much more intuitive to group non-destructive funcrtionality in the UI, as stated above, but it would also enable you to follow a non-destructive workflow without having to use completely destructive intermediate steps.
Furthermore, there's another reason: As soon as there is one single shape key, you can not apply modifiers any more. With shape key modifiers, this could be done in a defined manner (which I guess is not possible with the current solution (?)).
My motivation for point 2: I already ran into trouble because of this restriction - by simply assuming things would work. I looked for and found a workaround, but it cost me a lot of time I didn't have , and the solution was quite complicated and counter-intuitive...,
