Possibility to have at least 1 Pinned Editor for 2.8x.

Add pinning to an editor so it persists when going fullscreen area. Image

PS: the icon in the properties editor confused me alot since i thought it was for pinning like the panels in the sidebar, the tooltip is not helpful either since i didn't know what's the purpose of this functionality at first glance and that's where i got the idea for the editors. Image

follow-up: due some users feedback raising an issue with having multiple editors pinned and how they're going to work well when fullscreen, i changed the proposal to just having 1 pinned editor so it's possoble to have this feature...thanks to @Vasyl for bringing it up.

I like this, this would be huge boost for animation, when you wanna preview on bigger screen and be able to scrub/edit some stuff

how would it work if you pinned something that was not adjacent to the editor you fullscreened? how does blender know if it should be above, below, or to the side of the fullscreened editor? what happens if you pin multiple editors that aren't necessarily adjacent?

* @testure * that's for them to figure it out, but i suspect if that they are not adjacent then they take fullsize of vertical/horizontal space and if two or more then split between them.

* @testure * Yeah, the problem become apparent when there's multiple pinned windows. Maybe limit it to 1 pin?

* @Vasyl * sure why not if it's just one pinned we can always change it to other editors..i think ur suggestion might be more "technically" reasonable to achieve than mine, i'll edit the proposal to reflect that.

why not just make a new workspace? The whole point of going fullscreen is so you don't see other panels

Vyach

It is easy to achieve: just make new layout. Also fullscreen ≠ expand area.
