Camera and light manipulation
I've seen a few add-ons for Blender that try to make manipulation of cameras and lights a bit easier. However, none of them make it as simple and intuitive as moving and rotating cameras and lights in LightWave 3D.
So, just a plug here for continuing to refine how Blender's cameras and lights work. Otherwise, Blender's definitely kicking ass in the realm of 3D VFX software. Bravo.

Hi, could you elaborate please? "make it better" isn't a proposal.
Super-simple camera and light rotation and translation is LightWave's claim to fame. Here's a quick step-by-step while in Layout (trial/discovery version is free to download and try out):
You now know how to move and rotate the LightWave camera. The exact same thing applies to lights and objects.
Over the past 30 years of working with various 3D apps, this is the most intuitive system of manipulating cameras and lights I've seen thus far. I figure Blender might as well take advantage of this easy-to-use functionality -- if possible. After all, it's one of the key things that attracted film and TV people to LW3D in the first place.
Need to link to a tutorial or something.
How does LightWave 3D do it exactly? Typically whenever I'm doing light stuff, I press CTRL 0 on the active light to control it like a camera, which is how I'm trained to move lights.....though you can't drag and drop lights into the viewport to control them as cameras.
