Request for Keyframing Grease Pencil Layer Order in Blender
I have an idea that it would be great if the layer order of Blender's grease pencil could be keyframed. That is to say, the changes in the layer order of Blender's grease pencil can be animated and recorded through keyframes for more dynamic and flexible creations.

This seems to be a very niche use-case so I guess it would make sens to have a reorder layer node in geometry nodes instead. Then you could key some empties and read that in the GN group to do the trick
This could be cool. :3
But as of now the ways i've been using to get around this is :
Example: You want the legs to cross over each other in the front view. You can re order the strokes you want to be on above on the first frame, then on the next frame reorder it the way you want. Then use the time offset modifier with a driver to control it.
Or

I can't think of any other ways you would need this but worth a try ¯_(ツ)_/¯
