Restore Relative Cropping

The Crop node changed in blender 4.5 to be explicitly based on pixel sizing. It would be great if we could have relative cropping back as an option in the Crop node. Working at multiple resolutions with multiple scenes in a composite, things get messy fast with the new system. Four layers cropped and comp'd now need up to 16 Relative to Pixel nodes. In 4.4, they needed 0.

Instead of trying to force everything into the Relative to Pixel workflow, it would be nice to actually add a relative option to the Transform node as well, with values relative to the scene's render size.

We wanted to expose all those options as sockets and it's much easier to do if there is only one type of cropping in the node (i.e. either absolute or relative). From what we've seen absolute is more common.

In your case, you'd have to create an asset "Relative crop" or so that you can reuse, which uses the Pixel To Relative node under the hood. This shouldn't affect performance significantly. Would that solve your problem ?

That would work. Look at me, I am the relative crop node now.

Also, the tooltips for "height" and "width" in the Crop node both currently say "the width of the crop region".

Thanks, should be fixed now. It's best to file a bug report for such errors, developers will notice them sooner
