Rename actions from more places
Currently to rename an action we have to do it from the outliner, or dopesheet, or graph editor.
However, i often find myself in the situation where i want to rename an action and my layout is organized with only the action editor and nla editor, and from those there is no action renaming capabilities.
So my request would be to be able to add a right click "rename action" from those places (see my screenshots).
Note: my screen is already full with all the editors i need, so it's hard for me to add an extra dopesheet editor somewhere, just in the event that i need to rename an action.
Also, another workaround is to name the action correctly when it's created, but i believe blender would be more intuitive if it let the user choose the action name afterwards, i mean sometimes you know exactly the name of your action right before creating it, but sometimes you prefer to implement your action, and then put the name last (like the cherry on top of the cake).
Also, it seems to me almost ironic that in the action editor you can't rename an action (although i understand the logic, but i don't find it very intuitive)

starting in 4.3 you can rename the action from the properties panel as well. E.g. under "Object" there is an "Animation" dropdown now where the action can be renamed. I agree that in the NLA that same option would be useful as well
Upvoted. Not only that but I think an Action/Strip/Track Batch Renaming feature similar to the default Batch Rename would be appreciated. Maybe worth developing it as an entirely separate idea though?
