Checker Deselect checkbox to act on rings instead loops

Hello, I know that to get the desired result, I can select a loop (or a ring), checker-deselect it, and then select rings (or loops).

The problem with this approach is that it requires this 3-step process not matter what, and you don't even see the final result of the checker Deselection.

I prefer having the possibility to create a single hotkey that selects edge rings (on press) then selects loops (on release). After that, I'd love to have the possibility to checker-deselect the rings at will. This process would be a lot more intuitive.

The current implementation is just too limiting...
