In AnimBot, an animation plugin for maya, there are some menus which are kind of hybrids. You can click them to expand the list of options, like any drop down menu, or you can click a little arrow on the side to expand all the submenu's content so that all elements are displayed side by side at the same time.
That's some cool flexibility !

Yes please..... I miss this a lot. It was just one mouse over and click.. not two mouse movements plust 2 clicks. It's literally twice the work to access the one and same.
