Custom Colour Palette/Swatches in the Colour Picker Everywhere

I've been made aware the paint mode panels already have this feature. I think it would be a nice addition to the colour picker itself throughout blender not just in the panels relating to paint modes.

Absolutely agree. ATM I am jotting down the colour numbers on a piece of paper before I activate nodes and switch to Principled BSDF

Unreal Engine has done this and.. it's super useful.

Modo also has this (and even a little better) - you can add color swatches as an external text file together with a name. For example - We use a system at work where colors have a dedicated name for each value. It's consistent and I use it all the time. Super useful.

And even better yet: You could also use this for ColorMask Baking. Think of it this way: a dedicated color represents a dedicated material type that will be replaced in Substance Designer or Painter by preset. With a naming convention you never need to remember which color represents which material wile also never having to save, maintain and import a material .blend file, either.
