Expand Split Hover Area
This is something pretty simple but again as I am using a high DPI monitor I miss the window split area a lot because right now the hover area is not comfortable IMO. So why not expanding that hover area a few pixels more just to make it easier? This shouldn't take much time to fix.

The highlight is pretty cool - after like 1sec holdover for a highlight (so we don't get flashes over the UI general workflow). Visual feedback of what and when we can split instead of muscle memory would be very handy.
@ondraise15: The highlight was not part of the proposal just to show the hover expansion. I think we don't want to do that or it will flash all the time when moving the mouse around as you said. Even tho the idea of delaying it for half a second could work. I've seen that somewhere. It could look pretty cool and modern. Still with a little more room to click on the split section would do it for me.
