Group UV Islands

In 3ds Max, we can group UV islands and pack those groups. But in Blender, we can only pack UV islands. Here is an example of how it works: youtube.com/watch Four_UV_Island_Groups_Packed.jpg In the screenshot, there are four UV island groups packed.

have been thinking about how useful this'd be as well! Packing multiple objects works, but it often places the UV islands everywhere, so islands from a single object are scattered all over the place, rather than being grouped like this.

Perhaps you could create UV groups and organise them via a menu similar to ones like the vertex groups and shapekey ones, with the ability to give them colours too!
