Yeah I'm using that script from HEAVYPOLY, but having this default in Blender it will be cool. In modo, BoxSelect with left click - selects just the visible vertices/edges/polys, when boxselect with middleclick it selects through even the nonVisible ones.

I meant when you are in edit mode and you want to select edges, vertex for faces that are not visible because they are behind other polygons
