Remove Doubles should return to the W/Specials/RightClick menu

Remove Doubles should return to the W/Specials/RightClick menu, ideally at or near the top, as it's essentially a general cleanup tool/utility that should be readily available regardless of face/edge/vertex mode and in the same place for muscle memory in each.

I'd argue it's less discoverable and slower to access in the more niche Ctrl+V vertex menu, and also not something exclusively or even most often used from vertex mode.

It was quick enough to access with muscle memory from W that I never felt a need to create a specific bind. Now unfortunately I feel the need to make one, which aside from seeming wasteful, also shows a regression in out of the box behavior I imagine is equally annoying for users old and new alike.

With the W menu now defaulting to Right Click out of the box, this general modeling utility would have been more discoverable than ever for new users by simply staying where it was.

Yes. Especially since it is so easy to accidentally make a zero depth extrude.

I liked this innovation. W changed to right click. Right click and then press R S, etc. It turns out faster than W R or W S, etc.

@666666.yb: Right click menu is just fine, but what you are saying doesn't work outside of vertex mode context. When you are in edge mode or face mode you need to switch mode to vertex mode to access the menu with remove doubles OR press ctrl+V. I personally think he is right in saying that we should have in all context menus as it's one of the most commonly used actions for modelling.
